Singer Castle on Dark Island is accepting applications. Most positions are entry level and no experience is necessary, we will train. The following is a list of positions available at t he Singer Castle on Dark Island for the 2008 Season. These positions are seasonal positions and offer paid training.

Tour Guide: As a tour guide you would be escorting guests on a 45 minute guided walking narrative tours of the interior and parts of the exterior of this beautiful castle. This position does include some light housekeeping.

Managers: As a Manager you will assist in the safety, security and timeliness of daily visitors and operations. You would be responsible for answering the phones, using the mobile paging system to track staff and visitors. You would be responsible for checking the days cash and credit receipts, timesheet tracking, some staff supervision and communications.

Gift and Ticket Cashier: as a gift cashier you would be helping our guests in the purchase of tour tickets and souvenirs. This position does include light housekeeping in the gift shop area.

Janitorial: As part of our janitorial team you would be responsible for helping keep our facility clean. This includes daily cleaning of the restrooms, Castle greens, grounds, and offices.

Construction support staff: Join our Construction team of restoration artisans and painters as they work to maintain this beautiful historical landmark. This position does require some experience.
