As the late summer evenings get shorter and the trees become painted with vibrant autumn colors, Singer Castle on Dark Island will continue to open their doors for guided tours on weekends only– Friday, Saturday, & Sunday through October 13th. You are invited to visit the castle for a 45 minute guided tour including the first three floors of the Castle and some of the Castle grounds. Cost for admission/tour is $10 US for adults and $6 US for children aged 6 to 12. Tours will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 pm Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Limited private docking is available at the South Boathouse. Empire Boat line will run limited tours to the Castle. Call 888-449-2539 for tour boat schedule. Uncle Sam Boat Lines will book Charter groups at 877-253-9229. For those dreaming of that fairytale wedding, wedding reservations are being booked for 2004 and 2005. Call Singer Castle at 877-327-5475 for details. Since Singer Castle’s grand opening on August 2, 2003, the Castle has proudly hosted over 5,000 visitors. We thank those who experienced this historic marvel and look forward to your return. There are still weekend opportunities for those who might have missed the opportunity. Our 2004 season will begin in early May with some very exciting additions. Tours will be expanded to include the newly renovated 4th floor with Children’s Dormitory, Princess Room and sunken turret bathroom. We anticipate the addition of historical photos, books and period memorabilia. The South Boathouse gift shop will remain open on weekends through October 13th, featuring the work of local artists, signature items, and collectables.
