Spring and Summer Hours
May 2 and May open 9:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. last tour.
May 4 thru May 31
Tuesday and Thursday 9:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. last tour.
Saturday and Sunday 9:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. last tour.
June 1 thru June 13 (No tours currently scheduled June 9 and 11)
Monday-Friday 9:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. last tour.
Saturday and Sunday 9:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. last tour.
June 14 thru September 7
Open 9:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. last tour.

Reservations for the Uncle Sam Boat Tours from Alexandria Bay can be made at www.usboattours.com. Call 315-482-2611 with any additional questions and to confirm the schedule.
The shuttle service from Schermerhorn Harbor to Singer Castle operates from June 17 through August 29, 2026, Wednesday through Saturday only. No shuttle service is available on Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays.
Rockport Cruises will again be offering 3 hour cruises to Singer and Boldt Castle call 613-659-3402 to make reservations or visit www.rockportcruises.com.
Private Boaters are welcome. We have over 400’ of dock for your use and a dock attendant to assist you. We recommend that larger boats call ahead to ensure that docking space is available.

Tours
Arriving guests – ready for the tour
You are invited to join us for a 45-minute guided tour of Singer Castle on Dark Island, including four floors of the Castle featuring the Great Hall, Library, Dining Room, Breakfast Room, Terrace, Drawing Room, Loggia, Wicker Room, Bedrooms, Guest Rooms and 4th floor Dormitory.
All tours are Guided Tours and will be provided on the hour with the last tour leaving the Main Gate one hour prior to closing.
Guided tours of the Castle are offered to the public at a cost of US $14.75 per adult, children 4 and up $7.75, $12.75 for military adult and $6.75 for military children. Children under four years of age are our guests; however, young children must be carefully monitored by adults at all times. (No strollers are allowed within the Castle). Extended private tours may be arranged by appointment. Call for additional information and rates.
Please note: Walking and climbing stairs are required to view the interior of the castle. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Singer Castle Video Viewing Room
Those who do not wish to participate in the guided tour are welcome to watch a video of Singer Castle in our video viewing room at no charge or may shop in our Gift Shop. However, to stroll the grounds, one must pay admission and be accompanied by a docent.

Please be aware…
Due to the continued Historic Preservation of the Castle, no beverages, food, animals (unless service dogs) or smoking is allowed in the Castle or on the grounds. Smoking is only permitted on the Main Docks. Tours include walking up hill to the castle and multiple steps inside the castle.
No one is allowed in the Castle unless escorted by a Singer Castle Docent. We ask that parents supervise their small children at all times. If children become disruptive to the group, children and a parent will be asked to depart the group. Due to the many steps of the castle, no strollers are allowed inside the castle and small children must be carried.

Charter group tours
Charter group tours are available from Uncle Sam Boat Tours ( 877-253-9229 or www.usboattours.com), from Schermerhorn Harbor ( 315-324-5966 or www.schermerhornharbor.com) and from Clayton Island Tours ( 315-686-4820 or www.claytonislandtours.com).
For Canadian Departures
Rockport Cruises will again be offering two castle cruises departing from Rockport, Ontario. Reservations can be made at 613-659-3402 or by visiting www.rockportcruises.com. Cruises are currently scheduled for June 28, July 4, 5, 12, 19, 26 and 31, August 1, 2, 3, 9, 16, 26, 29, 30 and September 6. This schedule may change.

You are obligated to check in with Customs and Immigration. Under the new small boat reporting procedures that are now in effect, you may now check in using the CBP ROAM app. You may use the CBP iPad station in our Gift Shop or use the ROAM app on you iPhone or Android.
