The Gift Shop in the South Boat House
Our Singer Castle Gift Shop, located in the South Boat House, offers many items for visitors to take home as a souvenir of their time at Dark Island. In addition to T-shirts, sweatshirts and caps, items include: the artwork of John Morrow, Linda Palmer, Randall Peterson and Linda Toomey.
Available books of local interest include: Anthony Mollica’s Classic Boats of the Thousand Islands and Boldt Castle, Ian Corstine’s Water, Wind and Sky and The Thousand Islands, and Arcadia’s Images of America Series Singer Castle and Singer Castle Revisited by Robert and Patty Mondore.

For those wanting a photo to remember their visit to Dark Island and the area, the shop features work of well-known local photographer, Ian Coristine as well as that of Beverly Patchin of Bluebird Photography. DVDs for sale include Dark Island’s Castle of Mysteries produced by Robert Mondore and the PBS Documentary, Singer Castle. Jewelry by Beth Weldon is offered along with the glass artistry of Jim Burritt and stained glass by Scott Ouderkirk.
